Just like what I’ve said before, Paramore’s concert in Manila has been anticipated for a very long time and that show finally pushed through just hours ago. Their show performed well despite the fact that lead guitarist Josh Farro was temporarily replaced by Justin York for he was back in the United States preparing for his wedding. The band pumped up the crowed and entertained them really well even though the set list was shorter than expected. Just as I posted in Facebook, the best show I’ve been in so far.

I was able to get hold of a Gold Ticket for Paramore is one of my favorite bands and its not every year that they perform here in the country. I went to the concert with my niece (whose parents lent me half of the ticket price). We came early in order to have a good place but a huge amount of people were already lined -up outside the gates. I told myself that there was no way we would spend 4grand and just have a place on the back part.
Luckily I was able to find a gap in one of the lines and quickly squeezed in. No one said a thing, there were a number of murmurs but I paid them no attention. In the end we had an amazing place, a few feet away from the stage.
Overall, I had a great time (the place that we got played a big part in it)
I was disappointed with the crowd though. First is because they literally booed CallaLily off the stage which was the front act. They could have just given them a break. I mean it would be great to support our home grown bands. Another thing is that people kept on complaining when they are being pushed by other people. I came this close to talking to them. “They shouldn’t complain, I mean its a concert for Pete’s sake! a rock concert at that!” I just told myself that these people are just attending this kind of event for the first time.

Paramore “Thrilla in Manila” was very life fulfilling. I cried the moment I saw them.
